CSD Import - Operations
Hiring in Hamburg, salary negotiable. This position is part of the Import Operations team within the Hamburg Customer Service Department, responsible for independently handling import shipping operations, including manifests, documentation, and dispatch processes. Responsibilities include entering and maintaining vessel and cargo data in the operations system, preparing freight invoices, and completing vessel settlements. You will also be required to audit title and transport documents, handle container releases and demurrage exemptions, and coordinate with customers, shipping lines, terminals, and customs authorities. Additionally, you will manage import customs clearance matters, including summary declarations, ATB, MRN, and status information, ensuring that the import process is compliant and completed on time. Requirements include completion of commercial training, preferably with a background in shipping or freight logistics, and familiarity with modern software.
